Guam - On Thursday a public hearing will be held on a measure related to the Guam Election Commission.  Bill 296 would require the agency to thoroughly look into the background of persons seeking public office and whether they may have a criminal record.

The public hearing starts at 9 in the morning.

Senator Adolpho Palacios (D) introduced the bill as a result of the situation surrounding Senator Matt Rector.
