Ceremony held for outgoing Guam Guard platoon
A sendoff ceremony was held for a Guam Army National Guard platoon headed to Afghanistan. The Saligao Platoon will be participating in Operation Enduring Freedom's Afghanistan missions.

By KUAM NewsGuam - A sendoff ceremony was held for a Guam Army National Guard platoon headed to Afghanistan. The Saligao Platoon will be participating in Operation Enduring Freedom's Afghanistan missions.
The soldiers will be gone for approximately a year - they will first participate in mobilization training in Indiana.
