Feds green light DOE's use of funds

The U.S. Department of Education has given the OK for the local DOE to draw down funds for special education and other discretionary grants. According to DOE Superintendent Dr. Nerissa Bretania Underwood, they've made assurances to the feds that special conditions will be adhered to.
