Guam - The Department of Education, with the help of the General Services Agency, is expected to submit a second draft request for proposal to the feds by the end of business today. DOE Superintendent Dr. Nerissa Bretania Underwood says a series of conference calls were conducted last week.

The U.S. Department of Education made clarifications as to whether DOE will be able to use the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act funds to cover the third-party fiduciary agent. They also discussed the consolidated grant for 2009, which may be approved soon.

In the meantime, several follow-up conference calls are also scheduled this week.
