Tsunami expert shares projection techniques

By KUAM NewsGuam - Prompted by frequent tsunami warnings in the Pacific, Dr. Vasily Titov, Director of the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration's Center for Tsunami Research, presented his findings for making a more accurate forecast for tsunami predictions locally.
"We want to make a fast assessment, as a realtime assessment is a race against time you want to be ready for any source," he stated.
Dr. Titov heads to Saipan next to help emergency officials in the CNMI.
