USEPA reports increase in toxic release

According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, eight facilities on island reported an 8% increase in toxic chemicals released into the air, land and water in 2008 when compared to 2007.

Guam - According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, eight facilities on island reported an 8% increase in toxic chemicals released into the air, land and water in 2008 when compared to 2007.

Overall, Guam ranks among one of the lowest of the states and territories in total releases.
