Guam - There's a dispute over whether Cyfred has turned over all properties as was ordered by the Superior Court. An order to show cause hearing was held in the Superior Court on Monday where the developer was ordered by the court to turn over certain property to the Marshals.
Attorney Wayson Wong, who represents a number of Gill Baza residents, argued the company was withholding property.
Cyfred Attorney Curtis Van De Veld told KUAM News, "We had told the court everything that the court ordered, and the court took the matter under advisement and will now issue a written decision."
The residents are scheduled to sell Cyfred's properties on December 15 and the proceeds from the sale to install a sewer system at the Yigo subdivision, as Cyfred failed to pay a more than $750,000 judgment.
