Chamorro Village architect not licensed for Guam
by Nick Delgado
Guam - The Professional Engineers, Architects and Land Surveyors Board has received a response from JAD & Associates regarding the Chamorro Village project. The board contends that the company, who designed the plans for the new Chamorro Village, is not licensed to conduct any architectural work on Guam.
PEALS Board Chairperson Paul Santos says JAD continues to deny it was in violation for creating the plans, and has only agreed to pay the board a reduced penalty fee of $5,000 of the initial $10,000 fine. "What they're saying here is that they are still denying that they were in violation, but they want to move on, so they're willing to pay the penalty," he said.
