Baby Hope out of hospital, now in foster care
by Nick Delgado
Guam - Baby Hope was discharged from the Guam Memorial Hospital this morning and is now in foster care. Child Protective Services Social Services Supervisor Arlene Gadia confirms the baby is in their custody and is she is healthy.
Baby Hope was found abandoned on a bench at a Dai Ichi Condo residence on Monday. The baby will go through the foster care system as CPS attempts to locate any family members who may be able to care for her.
Gadia says despite numerous phone calls, baby hope cannot be adopted at this time but interested residents are urged to sign up to become a foster care family. Anyone with information regarding Baby Hope should contact the Guam Police Department at 477-HELP (4357).
