The Salvation Army is currently looking for volunteers to help with its annual bell-ringing campaign. Development Coordinator April Manibusan says bell ringing began the day after Thanksgiving and will end on Christmas Eve.

You can sign up for the two-hour slots and funds collected will go toward their holiday programs and the Christmas foodbox to provide to families.  The leftover funds will go to help the Family Services Program and the Lighthouse Recovery Center.

Said Manibusan, "All these funds that are collected do go back to the community, we don't keep anything for any other purposes besides our social service programs and our holiday programs so anyone who is interested in helping us with our campaign to raise our goal of $90,000 they can call us at 477-9872."

To get into the spirit of giving yourself, you can catch the bell ringers at Kmart, the Guam Premier Outlets, the Agana Shopping Center, Cost-U-Less in Tamuning and Harmon as well as the Micronesia Mall.
