After six full days of deliberations, jurors have still not reached a verdict in the case of eight police officers and two civilians accused of being involved in a conspiracy to cover up the alleged assault of several arrestees in November of last year.

The lengthy deliberations are drawing out a case that has already stretched more than three months, much longer than the predicted 6 to 8 weeks -- As well as some speculation that the jury may not be able to reach a consensus.

The jury is scheduled to reconvene for more deliberations tomorrow morning.
