Guam to remember loved ones Monday

All Souls Day is tomorrow and special memorials are being planned at cemeteries around the island.  Venchito Vargara, the park operations manager at Our Lady of Peace Memorial Gardens in Windward Hills, says that the holiday is one of the busiest of the year. 

He's urging visitors to come early as the park is expecting as many as five thousand will come to pay their respects.  "For those dead ones that's the year, we celebrate it every year for those people to visit their loved ones and give respect for people that died already," he said.

The mass at Our Lady of Peace will be held at 9am while a special mass will be held at 1pm in the afternoon at the Naval Base in Sumay.
