Soccer referee's clinic coming up

In local soccer news, beach/sand soccer referee clinics will be held on November 3-5 from 6:30-9pm at the GFA Conference Room in Harmon. For all those interested in refereeing the upcoming Beach Soccer League are asked to come out and learn the rules.

Sherry Stewart told KUAM Sports, "Anyone interested in wanting to know about beach soccer, now's the time to do it. It is a new sport and it s a lot of fun and we welcome anyone who wants to learn the rule. The rules are very different and it is worth coming out and checking it out. The Women's Soccer League is going to be starting up a week from this Sunday but in order to do that we need to hold a referee clinic.

"There are no fees everything is free and the instructor will be George Stewart who has been learning this game for the last several months and I'm sure you will learn a lot from this course. Should you have any questions about the referee clinic feel free to call the GFA Office at 637-4321."
