Team Justice wins Shirley's championship
Team Justice 10-0 on the year against the 8-2 defending champs Planet Hollywood took to the court in the Shirley's Basketball Championships. Justice managed to take the early 6-0 lead off several fastbreaks. They tighten up on defense keeping MVP and all-star 3-point champ Jun Navarro at bay.

Team Justice 10-0 on the year against the 8-2 defending champs Planet Hollywood took to the court in the Shirley's Basketball Championships. Justice managed to take the early 6-0 lead off several fastbreaks. They tighten up on defense keeping MVP and all-star 3-point champ Jun Navarro at bay.
Jay Casimiro picked up where he left off in the semi final game for Justice scoring 10 points in the first 11 minutes of play. Jun Navarro heated up and caught fire to give planet a 21-20 lead with 5:29 left in the first half. Navarro however managed to drop 9 points before the half as they trailed Justice 31-25 heading into halftime.
In the 2nd half, Justice went to big man James Collins and Kin Charfarous for the easy bucket inside, giving Justice the 10-point lead two minutes into the 2nd half. Justice's defense played a big factor as they manned up on Jun Navarro and stopped Planet from making a comeback. Justice forged a 22-point lead their highest of the game at 57-35 with time winding down. They held on for the win, 61-42 and more importantly, this year's championship title.
Casimiro led with 20 points in the win, while Jun Navarro drained 21pts in his team's loss.
