The Father Duenas Friars advanced to this year's IFL semifinals, after flying by the Okkodo Bulldogs 49-13 in the 1st round of the playoffs. Will Williams sparked the fire for the Friars on their 1st play of the game, connecting with Anthony Aguon for a 51-yard touchdown reception, boosting his team to the early 6-0 lead.

Keoni Pablo added to the Friars attack, on their next drive, running in for an 11-yard touchdown off the option play, putting his team up by 2 touchdowns.  Williams stepped up the offensive pressure, as he smashed his way in for the QB sneak, extending the friar's lead to 19-0. The Bulldogs answered back on the pursuing kickoff as Julio Kepwe ran for 91 yards along with the extra point, avoiding the 1st quarter shutout, and helping his team cut the lead down to 2 touchdowns.

Father Duenas however, did not show any signs of mercy, as they let their running game take effect, as Paul Calvo and Williams both added a touchdown apiece in the 2nd qtr, as they ended the 1st half with a 31-7 lead. In the 3rd qtr, Father Duenas added 2 more touchdowns, 1 coming off a interception return by Anthony Aguon and a 30-yard touchdown run by Pablo, putting them up 43-7 heading into the final quarter.

The Bulldogs did make 1 last attempt at the end zone, scoring 1 more touchdown off a 28-yard pass, as they eventually conceded to the friars 49-13. With the win, the Friars will now face the winner between the Guam High Panthers and the Southern High Dolphins.
