GW dominates cross-country meet

In high school cross-country action from Okkodo, 5 high school teams took to the 3.1-mile course in both female and male races.  In the boys race, GW's Micheal Gaitan took home the 1st place spot with a time of 18:03 followed by St John's Eric Bailey, who finished with a time of 18:11.

In high school cross-country action from Okkodo, 5 high school teams took to the 3.1-mile course in both female and male races.  In the boys race, GW's Micheal Gaitan took home the 1st place spot with a time of 18:03 followed by St John's Eric Bailey, who finished with a time of 18:11. 

GW's Gregorio Gogue rounded out the top three with a time of 18:55 as the Geckos took the 24-31 win over the JFK Islanders. In other boy's results JFK got the win over Okkodo, Sanchez beat out St. John's, JFK beat Sanchez, the Eagles got the win over the Sharks and Warriors to round things off.
