Guam Catholic Church hosting marriage symposium

The Catholic Church, which has made it clear where it stands on domestic partnerships, is holding a regional symposium this evening at the Lady of Lourdes Church in Yigo. The symposium is focused on the preservation of marriage and specifically in response to Bill 185.

The Catholic Church, which has made it clear where it stands on domestic partnerships, is holding a regional symposium this evening at the Lady of Lourdes Church in Yigo. The symposium is focused on the preservation of marriage and specifically in response to Bill 185. 

For the last several months, Archbishop Anthony Apuron has come out strongly against any legislation that would validate the rights of same-sex couples to enter into a partnership of any kind, citing Catholic principles as the core reason behind his opposition.
