Accused of child abuse, Gebhart faces arraignment

Christopher Gebhart is scheduled to appear in the Superior Court for an arraignment hearing at 4 Friday afternoon.  He allegedly abused a one-year-old baby girl, resulting in her falling into a coma and later dying after she was taken off life support.

Gebhart faces charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault but the Attorney General's Office is expected to take the case back before the grand jury soon to upgrade the charges to murder.  His girlfriend, Sharika Pangelinan, is also scheduled to answer to criminal charges tomorrow while the baby's mother, Valorie Pangelinan Santos is scheduled to appear for a criminal trial setting.
