The United States military remained in Condition of Readiness 3 throughout today, with DoDEA schools holding normal classes as scheduled. Navy spokesperson Lieutenant Jodie Cornell, says the 7th Fleet executed orders for Navy ships to be sent out to sea to wait out the storm.
The Air Force also sent its planes that couldn't fit in the hangars to Kadena Air Force Base in Japan to keep them safe from crosswinds. Lt. Cornell confirms the military was placed back in Condition of Readiness 4 this afternoon, but they continue to maintain their readiness with this weekend's impending storm.
