The Guam Power Authority has taken the necessary precautionary measures that spokesperson Art Perez says will allow the agency to sufficiently navigate any future storms.  "In anticipation of the onset of the third storm, GPA is out there."

He added, "We are out there cleaning lines, topping off vehicles and also we are also making sure all emergency water and generators, where diesel's management system is, are all topped off and operable."  Perez insists GPA tree-trimming contractors have been clearing transmission lines and managing vegetation down in Guam's southern villages.

Perez says GPA's dispatchers are equipped to respond to troubleshooting problems for those who experience low voltage or a power outage.
