The Government of Guam has been awarded three new grants from the Office of Economic Adjustment to the tune of $3,000,000 that will be used for the military buildup.  The governor says the grants will specifically be used to improve government services, modernizing infrastructure at the port and provide support for the military buildup.

The funding will allow the port to accomplish terminal development, performance and technical requirements for truck gates, among other things.
