Mark Bartolome faces 20 years behind bars after pleading guilty to importing more than a gram of crystal methamphetamine.  The defendant, along with Ernesto Verdera, was caught trying to smuggle more than $800,000 out of the United States last February.  Verdera was found guilty last month and is scheduled to be sentenced in July.

Bartolome, in an amended plea agreement, admitted to importing the drug ice from the Philippines to Guam and also agreed to the forfeiture of the money he and Verdera attempted to smuggle.

He is scheduled for sentencing on July 28.
