Both cameras can go 33 feet underwater and are shockproof - meaning they'll survive a drop from four to six feet. They're also freezeproof, and the Olympus 8000 boasts an added feature - it's crushproof, able to withstand 220 pounds of pressure. For serious divers interested in taking their cameras beyond the 33 feet underwater limit, Sadhwani recommends investing in underwater housing for their camera which will allow it to go 130 feet deep.

These cameras are perfect for water sports, winter sports, and can withstand the occasional bump or drop.
