The Simon Sanchez Sharks played host to the visiting Harvest Eagles in girls volleyball action last night in Yigo. Harvest started the game off with 3 straight scores to take the early lead. Sanchez tied the game at 3 apiece on their first possession of the set as they settled down.

The Sharks led 13-9 later in the first when Harvest bounced back and went on a 6-0 run, forcing the home team to call a time out. The quick intermission helped out as the Lady Sharks responded with 5 points to take the lead back 18-15. The game would get interesting when Sanchez looked to run away with the set leading 22-17 when the Eagles called a timeout.

Harvest made a last second run, putting up 4 points to trail 22-21 but fell short losing the set 25-21. The Sharks went into the 2nd set with the same energy and jumped out to a 7-0 lead and never looked back, taking the set 25-14 for the two-set win.
