Continental announces new Japan-Palau route

Continental Airlines is now operating it's first-ever third country charter flight from Okayama, Japan to Palau.  The operation of the flights provides new business opportunities for Continental and Palau. 

Continental Micronesia president Charles Duncan says this marks the first non-stop operation from a regional Japanese city to Micronesia.  The airline is looking at operating similar third country charter flights from other locations throughout Japan in the future.
