Some of you have probably noticed lately that it's been awhile since I've gotten a haircut. Well, there's a very deliberate method to what might be seen as my madness - I'm growing it out to help the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This is a cause I really believe in...and I want your help, too!

This organization has volunteers around the world shave their heads in solidarity with kids who lose theirs during cancer treatment. Now I'm not asking you at home to shave your own head, but I am asking that if you'd like to support me in this endeavor.

If you sponsor me, half of your tax-deductible donation will go to St. Baldrick's, with the other half staying here on Guam, going to the Edward M. Calvo Cancer Foundation and help our own kids who need to travel to get treatment.

The event will be at the Guam Premiere Outlets on October 3, but we're kicking things off a day early when I shave my head live on KUAM News Extra on October 2.

And on behalf of all the little heroes that continue to inspire me, thanks for your support. :)
