New farmer's market planned for Chamorro Village

The Department of Agriculture in conjunction with the Department of Chamorro Affairs has scheduled a ribbon-cutting ceremony tomorrow to open a farmer's market at the Chamorro Village in Hagatna. The intent of the market is to provide farmers with an outlet that will give them an opportunity to increase sales of locally produced agricultural products, to set their own prices and negotiate deals with the buyers and expand customer base.

The ceremony will be held at 11am.
