PXC 18 Preview: Robert Washington vs. Leroy Sablan
Spike 22's Robert Washington is seeking redemption at PXC 18 Dead Game 2. Washington is scheduled to take on Saipan's Leroy Sablan. Rob is a very strong wrestler who has been training with Spike for a couple of years and has also been part of the Guam Wrestling Federation as well.
Washington said, "I feel good heading into this fight, my cardio is real good and I have been working on a lot of technique and a lot of wrestling, striking, jiu-jitsu and throws. I expect to win and I have been working real hard especially after coming off a loss 6 months ago. I'm eager to get back in the cage and I'm real excited about this fight."
Washington is a veteran in the cage with a 3-1 record and can pretty much take the fight to the ground at will. Rob will have to keep his hands up this fight and use his jab to set up his power shots and still take his opponent to the ground to keep him on his toes. He said, "I've been working more technical on my stand up, working on keeping my hands up and I'm just going to work at what I'm good at and just take it one fight at a time. I feel real confident and the fans can expect an exciting fight.
"I'm going to go all out from the sound of the bell, from when the bell rings to the end of the round. If it's 3 rounds or if it's a TKO or submission, I'm going to go hard and it's going to be an exciting fight."
