Port Authority launches new web site
The Port Authority of Guam has launched a newly modernized website leading into the legislatures return to session where they will consider granting final approval to the Port's master plan. The plan calls for more than 200 million dollars worth of modernization upgrades to the facility.
The new site is www.portguam.com. The site boasts information on port operations, modernization, financials and even includes special areas for children, Freedom of Information Requests and a dedication to soldiers who have been deployed overseas.
The Port General Manager Glenn A. Leon Guerrero said it is much more user friendly and informative, "Our web site even has our shipping schedule updated that will be useful for shippers. This schedule can also be used by anyone wanting to know the specific arrival date and time of any goods they are having shipped to Guam."
