Sunday, September 6th 2009, 2:38 PM ChST
The Guam Education Policy Board is holding an emergency meeting Monday night so they can get a clearer picture of the Department of Education's financial situation before making any decisions on how to handle the budget shortfall. Board chairperson Joe San Agustin says that while they're taking every detail into consideration, they want to avoid shutting down schools at all costs.
The emergency meeting will be held tomorrow at 4pm at the DOE Conference Room in Hagatna.
