Near drowning reported in Tumon near Outrigger

The Guam Fire Department responded to a near drowning incident that occurred near the Outrigger Hotel in tumon. GFD spokesperson Joey San Nicolas says an individual called units after witnessing a 41-year-old female tourist struggling in the waters just before 8:30 this morning.
San Nicolas says units from Tamuning and Dededo responded to the scene and transported her to the Guam Memorial Hospital. GMH nursing supervisor Cely Mangrobang says chest x-rays were normal and the tourist was later discharged from the hospital.
