Police are investigating an auto-pedestrian accident that occurred in Yigo on Thursday evening
resulting in the death of 20 year old Katami Kintari Jr. The Yigo man was walking on the inner lane on Marine Corps Drive near Juan T. Sablan Street when he was struck by the driver of a silver 2002 Toyota Celica.

Guam Police Department Spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia says the Celica was driven by a 17 year old male minor. GPD's Highway Patrol Division was activated to investigate and they are trying to determine if speed or alcohol were factors in the island's tenth traffic related fatality.
