Man dies after auto-pedestrian accident in Yigo
A 30 year old man died at the Guam Memorial Hospital on Thursday night from injuries he sustained when he was struck by a car. The incident occured along Marine Corps Drive near the Yigo gym.
A 30 year old man died at the Guam Memorial Hospital on Thursday night from injuries he sustained when he was struck by a car. The incident occured along Marine Corps Drive near the Yigo gym. Police and medics were called to the scene on Thursday evening as the pedestrian was struck by the driver of a silver Toyota Corolla.
Guam Fire Department Spokesperson Fire Specialist Joey San Nicolas said medics were able to revive the man en route to the hospital. GMH Nursing Supervisor Cely Magrobong confirmed the man died just after 11:30 Thursday night after he a few hours on life support. The Guam Police Department's Highway Patrol Division was activated to investigate the incident and no other information has been provided.
