A display of devotion, community and culture was held in Hagatna this afternoon as the island’s Catholic faithful turned out to celebrate Santa Marian Kamalen, Guam’s patron saint and protector.  Every December 8, the annual procession around the capitol draws thousands from across the island to celebrate the hundreds of years old tradition which coincides with the Immaculate Conception.
