Guam’s only commercial airport is getting a major lift—with $10.4 million in federal funding from the FAA. The grants will replace and reconstruct five passenger loading bridges—some in use since 1996 and damaged by Typhoon Mawar.

The package also funds a design study to improve accessibility for individuals with disabilities—and kicks off work on a fully integrated fire alarm and suppression system.

Executive manager John Quinata says the projects will make travel safer and more convenient for all terminal users—thanking the governor, lieutenant governor, and FAA for backing these critical upgrades.
