Guam is deepening its regional ties. Senator Jesse Lujan has introduced a resolution creating friendship caucuses with the Philippines, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan.

The move highlights Guam’s cultural, economic, and historical bonds with its Indo-Pacific partners, while giving the Guam Legislature a formal platform to push cooperation in trade, tourism, education, and security.

Lujan says the caucuses will strengthen dialogue, resilience, and collaboration, ensuring Guam plays a central role in shaping the Pacific’s future.
