Guam Memorial Hospital Emergency Nurse represents Guam at National ENA Conference

A team of Emergency Department nurses at the Guam Memorial Hospital will be attending the 2025 Emergency Nurses Association Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.
This marks the first time in over seven years that GMHA has been able to send ER nurses to the national event.
The ENA Conference is the premier national gathering for emergency nurses, offering CE-accredited education, hands-on training, and networking with leaders in emergency care.
It is also home to the Trauma Nursing Core Course, an intensive program that enhances trauma assessment and clinical decision-making, a course GMH successfully piloted earlier this year.
“This is a milestone moment for our hospital and our team,” said Hospital Administrator/ CEO Lillian Perez-Posadas. “What our nurses bring back from this experience will strengthen patient care, enhance preparedness, quality care, increase confidence, and bring honor to our hospital and our island.”
For decades, only states across the U.S. held delegate status. Now, Guam joins their ranks, giving the island a voice and representation at the national level.
This year also marks another historic milestone: ER Nurse Adam Pangelinan was awarded the prestigious ENA Foundation International Conference Scholarship.
Adam is one of only five nurses nationwide to receive this recognition in 2025, covering his full conference registration, airfare, accommodations, and membership with ENA.
Through department-led fundraising efforts, three additional ER nurses will also be able to attend the ENA Conference 2025.
Jeffrey Bonifacio, RN, Pauline Perez, RN-CEN, Sheryl de Guzman, RN-CEN, will accompany Mr. Pangelinan, RN, as delegates to the ENA Conference.
