A superior court jury has found Jesse Andrew Leon Guerrero guilty on three third-degree felony charges — meth possession and two firearm violations. The verdict came Wednesday after a six-day trial and just about an hour of deliberation.

Leon Guerrero, who appeared before Presiding Judge Alberto Tolentino, was convicted of possessing methamphetamine and an unregistered firearm, as well as having a firearm without identification.

The charges stemmed from an October 2024 raid at his home that followed two controlled drug buys and months of investigation. Police seized drugs, paraphernalia, and a gun not registered to him.

Initially facing more serious first-degree charges tied to intent to deliver, the government’s case was weakened when prosecutors refused to reveal the name of a confidential informant, leading the judge to exclude that evidence from trial.

Sentencing for Leon Guerrero is set for December 18.
