Renowned comedian Tumua is set to return for another

The University of Guam Endowment Foundation and Guam Comedy are thrilled to announce the return to Guam of renowned Polynesian comedian Tumua with his wildly popular “Chee Hoo” Tour this fall.
The one-night-only performance will take place on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at the University of Guam Calvo Field House.
Tumua Tuinei, known for his uproarious stand-up and viral comedy content, has
captivated audiences across the Pacific with his hilarious takes on local life, island culture, and growing up in a Polynesian household.
An up-and-rising star in the comedy world, Tumua continues to gain national and international attention.
He recently headlined a sold-out show at the Blaisdell Concert Arena in Honolulu and is riding high with a Netflix comedy special, “Strictly Aloha” (2024), and a cameo appearance in Disney’s highly anticipated live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch (2025).
“This is more than just a night of comedy—it’s a shared experience of cross-cultural humor” said Katrina Perez, Executive Director of the University of Guam Endowment Foundation. “We’re excited to welcome Tumua to Guam and provide our island community with a night full of laughter while supporting a meaningful cause.”
This night of comedy will kick off the Foundation’s 8th annual “G is for Giving” Campaign which has raised over $600,000 in support of UOG scholarships and programs since its inception in 2017.
All proceeds from the TUMUA comedy show will benefit the University of Guam Endowment Foundation, college affordability through UOG student scholarships, and university initiatives that will help shape the future of Guam and the region.
Tickets are already on sale at guamtime.net.
Seating is limited, and fans are encouraged to purchase early as Tumua’s shows frequently sell out in advance.
