Pacific Cardiology Consultants is proud to announce the addition of Deidre Anastas, MD to their medical team.  

Dr. Anastas is the only pediatric cardiologist who is serving the entire region of Micronesia. Her addition to our medical community significantly expands access to specialized cardiac care for children and families across the islands.

Dr. Anastas earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York City.  She then pursued subspecialty training through a Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at Nicklaus Children’s Health System in Miami.  

Dr. Ananstas was then accepted into and completed a prestigious Fellowship training program in Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Rochester.

With her arrival, Pacific Cardiology Consultants is now able to offer an expanded suite of pediatric cardiology services, including:

  • Pediatric Echocardiograms
  • 24- and 48-hour pediatric Holter Monitoring
  • Pediatric Electrocardiograms (EKG/ECG)

Dr. Anastas joins our team of cardiologists and providers — Dr. Juan Quiros, Dr. Yoichi Inaba, Dr. Bishoy Elbebawy, and Marvin Nogoy, NP-C. The entire team is excited to welcome her and to begin this new chapter together.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Anastas and her husband are passionate divers and are looking forward to exploring the vibrant underwater ecosystems of Guam and the surrounding islands.
