Core Tech selected to negotiate Simon Sanchez High School rebuild contract

A major step forward in the long-delayed Simon Sanchez High School project, Core Tech International has been selected to enter contract negotiations to design, build, and maintain the new campus.
The Department of Public Works announced that the evaluation phase is complete, following a multi-agency review under Public Law 37-22 and the Ma Kåhat Act.
Three firms submitted proposals; Core Tech, General Pacific Services, and Guam Education Financing Foundation, all showed strong experience in school construction.
Core Tech emerged as the top-ranked bidder. If negotiations fail, DPW may move to the next qualified firm.
DPW said this project isn’t just about construction, it’s about delivering a modern school for the youth of northern Guam after more than a decade of delays.
Contract details are expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.
