Summer School is on: GDOE announces dates, thanks key partners

The Guam Department of Education is once again opening doors to opportunity — with the launch of its Summer School Program for School Year 2024–2025.
Despite the challenges faced this year, GDOE remained committed to giving students every chance to learn, grow, and succeed. While plans to refurbish school facilities were placed on hold, many campuses stepped up — adjusting schedules and resources to ensure students wouldn’t miss a beat.
And making it all possible — a big shout-out from project lead Jesse R. Pendon Jr. to the Guam Department of Public Works, especially the incredible team behind bus operations. Their quick response and unwavering support were essential in helping students get to and from summer school.
The program is managed by GDOE’s Classroom Supports and Academic Interventions team, and funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Consolidated Grant to the Outlying Areas.
