Three hundred seventy-five Tritons. One island. Infinite impact.

On Sunday, history was made again at the Fañomnåkan 2025 commencement ceremony as 375 graduates crossed the stage at the UOG Calvo Field House, matching the largest graduating class.

Five hundred ninety four degrees were conferred in total this academic year, proving that UOG is more than a university, it’s a launchpad for leaders shaping a stronger Pacific.

The class also had co-valedictorians Nicole Jean Pineda  and Joselle Garcia who are from the College of Natural and Applied Sciences and both earned a degree in Biology with a Bio-Medical track.

Keynote speaker was President Surangel Whipps Jr. of Palau who reflected on his journey of service and leadership and encouraged graduates to lead with courage and a deep commitment to their communities.

“Today is not the end. It is the beginning of a new chapter-one filled with purpose, promise, and continued learning. Graduates, your education has prepared you to be agents of change, champions for what is good and right, embrace that role with courage, humility and deep sense of responsibility,” said Whipps Jr.

Congratulations to the next generation of change-makers! Biba Tritons!
