$26k in grants available for Guam artists through Regional Arts Fund

All local artists to the front! Grant funding is now available to support creative work and cultural expression through a regional initiative backed by Senator Shelly Calvo.
Senator Calvo is encouraging Guam artists to apply for the Pacific Jurisdictions Artist Fund, a program offering $26,000 in grants ranging from $500 to $6,000.
The fund supports creators from Guam, CNMI, and American Samoa, and was established through support from creative west and a donation by Mackenzie Scott.
Applications close June 2, 2025 and artists working in any creative field, from visual art to music to healing traditions, are encouraged to apply.
Calvo highlighted the importance of the arts during a time of change for Guam, saying they play a vital role in preserving cultural identity and fostering community connection.
