The Department of Revenue and Taxation has received reports of a scam involving the E-Z Pass Lane, a commonly used service used in the collection of fees for toll roads, bridges and tunnels in certain parts of the United States.

Guam does not have tollways or charge any sort of fee for driving on its roadways.

DRT also notes they do not communicate with taxpayers over text message, nor does it ever demand fees and transaction payments through that mode.
