Art lovers and creatives have a chance to support the arts while crafting a piece of Guam’s heritage this December.

Artspace Guåhan, a nonprofit dedicated to arts education, is hosting a fundraiser called “’Tis the Season for Mosaics.”

The hands-on workshop will be led by Mosaic Artist Mark Murer, where participants will create a latte stone-inspired mosaic piece.

The event is set for Saturday, Dec. 14, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Guam council on the Arts and Humanities agency in Hagåtña.

The workshop is open to adults 18 and older, with seating limited to ensure a guided, immersive experience.

Tickets are priced at $100, which covers all supplies, including a wooden latte stone artwork board, mosaic materials, and light refreshments.

All proceeds support Artspace Guåhan’s mission to make arts education accessible and celebrate Guam’s creative heritage.
