You can expect a phone call from (808) 528-4050 in the coming months as the Department of Public Health and Social Services announces the start of the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System Survey.

The survey is the largest, ongoing telephone health survey that collects data from adults age 18 and older across the United States and its territories.

It is an essential health survey, which gathers important data to support public health initiatives focused on the health and well-being of Guam’s residents.

The survey addresses crucial topics such as diabetes, tobacco use, alcohol consumption, physical activity, obesity and other health related topics.

The information collected will provide local and federal health programs with state-specific data essential to developing health priorities, supporting healthcare funding, and creating or expanding programs that promote health and prevent disease on Guam.
