A U.S. border patrol officer finds himself on the other side of the law after being accused of repeatedly raping a woman visiting from Korea.

Twenty-four-year-old Myeongsu Kim, also known as Jason, is charged with three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, official misconduct, and theft by threatening.

Court documents state the victim arrived through immigration at the airport when Kim was called to help as an interpreter back in August.

Kim allegedly told the victim he would help her in exchange for money and sex.

The victim was taken to a motel multiple times where Kim allegedly raped her and even took more than $5,000 from her.

The victim was visiting family on the island.

She eventually reported the alleged incidents.

Documents state Kim was placed on desk duty last week while authorities investigated.

Witnesses alleged Kim then met the victim’s family while in uniform claiming the allegations led to him losing his promotion and being placed on unpaid leave, while painting the victim as a prostitute.

Police arrested Kim on Wednesday morning.
