Guam Power Authority will making system improvements and conducting preventive maintenance to avoid future outages in the village of Sinajana.

The scheduled outage is set for Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Bien Venida Avenue, Granada Lane, and surrounding areas. 

In most cases, the job can be done with no impact to customers; however, sometimes the power needs to be shut off in order for the crews to work safely. 

GPA is committed to keeping our customers and employees safe and we will turn the power back on as soon as we can.

If you have a generator, make sure your main breaker is in the open position for the safety of our line crew.

GPA recommends having a plan for alternate power sources for electrical medical equipment and to charge all cell phones before the outage. 

Minimize opening refrigerator and freezer doors during the outage.
