The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer, or P-EBT, card distribution for children who attended a National School Lunch Program participating school in Guam during the last month of School Year 2021-2022 and/or 2022-2023 has been extended.

Cards will be distributed at the 2nd floor of the RanCare Building in Tamuning, starting Monday, Aug. 26, 2024.

P-EBT’s will be distributed Aug. 26 to Aug. 30, Monday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the RanCare Building Tamuning, 2nd Floor.

Distributions will also be continuously held starting Sept. 3, 2024, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the RanCare Building Tamuning, 2nd Floor.

No appointment needed, walk-ins welcome. Replacement of P-EBT cards can be done during both periods.

There may be an early line cutoff depending on the length of the line and it is determined on a day-by day basis.

For those who visited the troubleshooting table at the Micronesia Mall during the distribution period, and a troubleshooting ticket (yellow or blue) was created, these tickets will be validated by Guam Department of Education.

DPHSS will call those on the list once confirmed by GDOE.

Cards issued during this time; their funds will be available immediately.

School children who have attended an NSLP school in Guam during the last month of School Year 2021-2022 and Children under the age of 6 who are not attending school and in a SNAP household during any one of the summer months (May 2022, June 2022, or July 2022) are both eligible for Summer P-EBT 2022.

School children who have attended an NSLP school in Guam during the last month of School Year 2022-2023 are eligible for Summer P-EBT 2023. 

Students who left an NSLP participating school in Guam before the end of School Year 2021-2022 and/or School Year 2022-2023 will not be eligible for P-EBT benefits for summer 2022 and 2023 are NOT eligible for both P-EBT 2022 and 2023.

Each eligible student will receive the following one-time benefit amount:

  • Summer P-EBT 2022 $455
  • Summer P-EBT 2023 $139

For those who already have a P-EBT card, you do NOT need to visit the card distribution site. Parents/Guardian who no longer have legal custody of the child(ren) must surrender the P-EBT card to the legal guardian of the child(ren).

A Parent or Legal Guardian must bring a valid picture ID such as a Driver’s License, Guam ID, military ID or Passport (Electronic or digital copies of ID’s are acceptable)

Written Authorizations are not allowed. If you are a parent/guardian/student and are off island, a zoom meeting will be scheduled. Power of Attorney and any court document will be verified with GDOE records to release the card to whomever is designated to pick up the card(s).

NO CARD WILL BE ISSUED if you are not the registered parent/guardian.

NO CARD WILL BE ISSUED at the distribution site to parents/guardians of children under the legal custody or auspices of Child Protective Services (CPS). SNAP will directly coordinate with CPS regarding eligible students or children card distribution.

In the event the parent’s or guardian’s name is not listed for whatever reason, the parent/guardian will be assisted by the troubleshooting team who will work with GDOE in resolving the issue.
